Interesting Blog.

One of my friend shared this blog with me. The pictures are nice and inspiration.

One of the post struck me very hard as I am considering going into full time.

To quote from the video to share...

"Start seeing things in a different way."

"You want to question why you doing what you are doing and you really want to realise that if you don't force yourself as a very active process it is ao easy to slip into a routine. What are the things that you don't see. At every single wedding you shoot, what are the things we walk by that could have been amazing to shoot. The key is to think about it, activly think about it."

"But the biggest tool is none of that, and the biggest tool is right here. (Pointing to the head) Understand the language of Film."

"Seeing the light in a different way. For the most part you already have the year you need, you already have all the tools you need to create really inspiring work. It just about developing the deeper understand of the language of film and trying to see things in a completely different way."

Truly inspiring and good points to ponder. :) Looks like I should start seeing things in a different way first and to actively think about it when I shoot and understand the language of digital wedding photography. :)

Updates!

September to Decemeber are busy months for me. I will be covering 4 weddings and 1 ROM. I am indeed honoured and blessed to be able to take pictures for wedding couples and I am enjoying every wedding I cover.

Also I will be putting up a two page AD on blissful brides.

Ron & Angeline had their ROM at Halia@Botanical Gardens. Is it the first time trying directing people to take pictures for their mini outdoor shoot. The weather was kind enough to us as dark clouds were looming, but we still managed to have fun and take some shots. :) Enjoy the pictures... Will post more after I sort them out...

Michael & Judy AD

Michael & Judy are a lovely couple. I always see them with a nice and bright smile on their face whenever I meet up with them. Michael and his brothers were cooperative and fellowed through all the games the sisters put them through.

Here are some pictures to share.

Kai Yeow & Hui Min's AD

The world is really small. Hui Min and Kai Yeow got to know my service through a bridal magazine and upon the first meeting with the couple, I find Kai Yeow rather familar. Only when asking my wife did I reliased that Kai Yeow was her Schoolmate in Seconday School, JC and even in Uni. :)

I am honoured to be able to capture their wedding. Here are some pictures to share.

Lunch Time!

What do you do during your lunch time?

Catch up with friends?
Eat your favourite food?
Go to your favourite place for your favourtie food?
Go to a park to enjoy the view and the slow pace of life?

Well I just sent Gillan and Kelly's AD wedding album down to Gloryworkz to get it printed. This is the first time I am working with Gloryworkz and I and looking forward to get the album.

Also I collected the 4R pictures for Hengky and Li Theng's ROM pictures from my regular printers.. they look great on pearl paper...

Well I am looking forward to the wedding shoot tomorrow and an ROM shoot the week after next... this will be my first time thinking of concept shots to try and engaging the couple. :)

Keep a look out for the pictures!
